Comic twenty-one on the twenty-first of May! That's kinda cool...

Okay, so I saw The Watchmen Tuesday night. I knew nothing about it going into the movie, except that DC Comics made it, and I've enjoyed some of their other movies. I did not realize it was going to be that gory! And the craziest thing was that the first thing I heard from several of my friends' mouths after the movie was that they didn't realize they were going to see a porno. Okay, so there are several scenes in the movie where there's some fairly explicit sex. But come on, that gore was disturbing--and very plentiful. Maybe I'm European, but the sex and nudity don't bother me nearly as much as the gore. Not even close. Although I will say: Jeez, Dr. Manhattan. I know you're all not-part-of-this-human-race and all, but you could try to keep your equipment covered a little more often for everyone else's sake.
